In order to improve your French, I always suggest an immersive stay and now I can welcome you in Limousin. 

Why Limousin ? This agrarian region offers breathtaking landscapes. With a rich architectural, artistic and gastronomic heritage, Limousin is an amazing region to visit!

As a resident of Limousin, land of my husband and lovely place to live and raise children, I am extremely familiar with the area and I want to share ny passion with you during a five-day linguistic trip to practice French through language courses, visits, games and other activities. 

You can discover this region and experience a trip back in time by yourself or with friends and family.

You will stay in Domaine de Bort which is located in the heart of an important forest in the village of Saint Priest-Taurion (my village). In order to enjoy life in a castle, you will choose a room in the castle of Bort or in the lodging located in the courtyard of the castle which also comes with a view. The castle was built between the 15th and 19th century and is an architectural and historical marvel that enchants visitors! 

A tailor-made language stay

On the program for these five days: gastronomic discoveries, visits to towns and villages in Limousin, discoveries of tourist sites in the region, workshops and games, French classes and moments of relaxation. 

The program is entirely adaptable to your needs and desires. Preparatory meetings are organised before departure. It is possible to modify the program according to your tastes and preferences. Some visits or activities can be replaced by others. The French courses are adapted to your level. I will do my best to offer you the best possible immersion experience! 

If you are accompanied by people who do not wish to take French classes, different activities can be planned such as fishing, painting, yoga and swimming.

Limousin is very welcoming. During your stay, I will be your local guide. I will answer your questions and make sure that your experience is memorable. 

The proposed program will be adapted according to your desires, but small surprises are planned throughout the stay. Just a heads-up! 

Contrary to typical language stays, I believe in visits and activities that are off-beat. This is an ideal way to get closer to French culture!

The castle of Bort: a trip back in time

Located at the gates of Limoges, the Domaine de Bort is a must-see place in the region. In a landscaped park of a hundred hectares, the natural beauty of the fauna and flora enchants the visitors. Three walking routes are proposed to discover the park, the forest of Bort and the various species. 

Within this domain is the castle of Bort. The current owners offer visits to this castle to discover the rooms, the furniture and the decorations which are a part of life of this impressive building. 

The estate also offers bed and breakfast accommodation within the castle, as well as six cottages in the castle’s former agricultural reserve. 

Many activities are offered on site or nearby to spend pleasant moments: golf, horseback riding, swimming, tennis and canoeing.
